I'm suddenly not feeling all that well in the 'world and I don't seem to be in entirely the same place' kind of way + drowsy. I've got ~30 hours of laundry to do before Wednesday evening, so even if I do nap, it'll be of the segmented kind.
I had twelve hours of sleep last night. I'll take my nap at peak electricity use time when I shouldn't be doing laundry anyway. (Huh, we're doing a better job of flattening that curve out than we used to.)
In totally unrelated news, Friday I had one of those rare concurrences of a good hair day and a government photo I.D. renewal (goodbye red and white OHIP* card). I won't get to see the actual picture for another four weeks or so, but I already know that even if looks good, the signature won't. I haven't reached competence at signing offset image signature pads yet - unlike my father's signature, which is just one continuous squiggle, mine requires the pen to come off the page seven times (eight if you include the time that it doesn't return). Fortunately, you aren't required to sign for health coverage. Hopefully this state will persist until the card expires in 2014.
*Ontario Health Insurance Plan - eligibility for such requires, among other things, you to have sworn to remain physically present in Ontario for at least 153 days in each 12 month period. How this works for people with Convention Refugee Status who are otherwise eligible but may have less control over their movements, I do not know. I presume that there's a modified commitment, but I'm not sure what it would look like.
